In memoriam : Nick Semeniuk

The Park Extension History Society is sad to announce the passing of its Treasurer, Mr Nick Semeniuk, in February 2025. A long-standing member, supporter and officer of the Society, Nick was a calm and constant presence at our meetings and participated in every one of our events. Nick grew up on Acadie boulevard back when it was called McEachran Street and was a fount of information about the history of the fence. We will miss him!

La Société d'histoire de Parc-Extension  a le regret d'annoncer le décès de son trésorier, M. Nick Semeniuk, en février 2025. Membre, sympathisant et officier de longue date de la Société, Nick offrait une présence calme et constante à nos réunions et il participait à chacun de nos événements. Nick a grandi sur le boulevard Acadie à l'époque où il s'appelait toujours la rue McEachran et il était une importante source d'information sur l'histoire de la clôture. Il nous manquera !
