You are invited to attend the Park Extension Historical Society’s 2026 social highlight, the annual conference related to local heritage and history. The event will feature as featured speaker Vicky Onufriu. Ms Onufriu is a member of the Québec Historical Federation. She was born in Park Extension, and lived on Wiseman. Her father is of Turkish origin, lived in Greece and came to Park Ex. Her mother is from Lac-St-Jean. 

Ms Onufriu will share the fascinating story of tracing the Alexander family roots from Ireland to Québec through research and history. Together, we will discover stories of Hope, Resilience & Perseverance.

Vous êtes invité à une conférence de la Société d'histoire de Parc-Extension : Mme Vicky Onufriu, membre de la Fédération Histoire Québec, partagera ses recherches. Elle est née à Parc-Extension, et a vécu sur la rue Wiseman. Fille d'un père d'origine turque ayant vécu en Grèce avant de s'établir à Parc-Extension, et d'une mère originaire du Lac-Saint-Jean, elle présentera une histoire riche en découvertes, et en patrimoine.

Mme Onufriu partagera ses périples à retracer les racines de la famille Alexander d'Irelande au Québec. Nous découvrirons ensemble des récits d'espoir, de courage et de résilience.
