Post date: Mar 21, 2011 5:2:42 PM

The Quebec Anglophone Heritage Network, in conjunction with its partners the Concordia School of Extended Learning and the Centre for Oral History and Digital Storytelling, is proud to present a one-day conference entitled Ways of Memory: the Montreal Experience.

Presented as a full-day of learning and exchange, the Ways of Memory conference will unite Montreal-based cultural and heritage activists from many different sites and points of view. Through interactive, participatory workshops facilitated by experts in both heritage activism and digital technologies, participants will be given tools to enrich and animate their own projects. The conference is also designed to allow for exchange between experienced cultural sector workers and current and recent students, and to encourage inter-professional dialogues. The keynote address will be presented by Mr. Dinu Bumbaru, Policy Director for Heritage Montreal.

WHEN: Saturday, March 26, 2011. Registration onsite at 9:00 a.m. or online.

WHERE: Concordia University, Henry F Hall Building (7th Floor), 1455 de Maisonneuve West, Montreal.
