Mapping the Mosaic
A new participatory mapping website dedicated to the heritage ofMontreal’s English-speaking communities
The Quebec Anglophone Heritage Network invites you to share your history by pinning favourite stories, photos or video to an interactive map of Montreal neighbourhoods, including Park Extension. For more information, visit mapping.montrealmosaic.com, facebook.com/mapping.montrealmosaic or read an article about it in the Montreal Gazette. You are also invited to their official launch, March 19th at 7pm at the McCord Museum (690 Sherbrooke St. W.) Refreshments will be provided. RSVP to mapping@qahn.org.
The Park Extension Historical Society brings you this simple web site to learn about the history of our district in north-central Montreal, keep members up-to-date on Society happenings, and keep the community informed about local cultural events. We also have ten posters available for download, each one highlighting a decade of Park Extension's past.
La Société d’histoire de Parc-Extension vous présente ce modeste site web afin de vous renseigner sur l’histoire de notre quartier situé au centre-nord de Montréal, d’informer les membres des activités de la société d’histoire, et de garder la communauté au courant des évènements culturels dans le quartier. Nous offrons aussi dix affiches à télécharger, chacun portant sur les faits saillants d'une décénnie de l'histoire de Parc-Extension.
